Looking for the old version of Freeze?
Looking for freeze when it was a one-shot?
Overview[]
Freeze is the 36th ability in the game, and it costs
20,000. It allows the user to freeze opponents, trapping them in ice, and fly with a makeshift bridge of ice.
Abilities[]
Passive - Frost Fist[]
The user’s fist is enveloped in icy spikes, dealing 15 damage per punch instead of 10. If the user's punch kills a player, the victim turns into ice and shatters.
E - Glacier[]
The user punches the ground and summons a large spike of ice. Targets hit by this attack are thrown forwards and frozen solid, thawing out over the course of a few seconds.
The glacier has collision, allowing you to get to high places like the hills or trees, similarly to Crystal or Farmer's Cabbage.
Q - Ice Skating[]
The user leaps into the air and creates a path of ice ahead of them, quickly moving through the air. This path of ice is intangible/untouchable to other players and connects to the ground. If the user has no ground below them, hits a wall, is punched by another player, or is too high in the air, the ability is cancelled automatically.
Can also be manually cancelled by either recasting Q or punching.

Pros & Cons[]
| Pros | Cons |

Strategy[]
- Take advantage of your E freezing players to start combos.
- Q grants extremely high mobility, so you can use it to chase fleeing targets or get to a better position.
Trivia[]
- Freeze formerly instantly killed players you punched, with no other moves. Due to players disliking this heavily and how bland it was, it was reworked into the Freeze currently in-game.
- Freeze's E move used to be Ice Spray, which sprays ice that applies a status that increases in intensity, but it was reworked into Glacier due to Ice Spray being underpowered.
- Freeze's Q takes inspiration from Frozone/Deepwoken's Ice Skate Mantra.
- Freeze was originally the most expensive ability in the game before Quantum was added.
- Freeze used to give
6 per hit due to being a oneshot (assuming you had no Gamepasses). It was later changed to
5. It currently gives
1 Punch per hit due to it not being a oneshot anymore. - Freeze's E was originally meant to freeze people standing on it. However, during testing, this was changed due to it causing speed bugs.
- Freeze previously costed
15000.
